My Syrian Welsh hammy called Daffy. I secretly bought him in my first year at uni... weren't allowed to keep pets in halls either. :P

He doesnt look as young now... he's nearly 2 years old, I'm afraid he may die soon. :(

He is gorgeous:) My son had a gerbil for a while in the halls in uni but was found out after about 6 months so Jerry Gerbil went to live with my mum:D

He was in my bedroom, at night he went in my ensuite as he was a noisy rascal but when it was inspections he went in my wardrobe!!!

Aw bless him. Please don't worry about him dying. I had a syrian that was 6! When we bought her we were so happy. A week later we noticed she was very fat. The next day we actually had 7 hamsters! We took them to the rspca centre who said they would put them down. So we kept them all:-). The mum, Wayne, outlived them all:-) X

Aww he is lovely :p We have a very cute 2 yr old called Jerry Berry :D He is not as agile as he was, but we give him a little snack of fruit/veg/salad everyday in the hope that fresh food will keep him going a while longer.
