Tortoise tables?

Hi there, ive been looking to get my little tort a new table. I didnt notice how many differnt kinds there where out there

Ive also noticed that alot of them dont have a way to mount a uvb strip light.

Could any of you surgest a table? also a method of mounting said light?

sorry if this is the wrong place to post :O

there are so many different types out there

It's a question of either getting with an "arm" - example below

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TORTOISE-T...item2a39dad073

or a standard table and then using a light stand - like example with Arcadia D3 flood

Cheapest way is to get the biggest table you can afford and fit in  and make some "arms" to attach your fittings where you want them

We've made our own tables. Some are bunk style for housing more than one tortoise, especially the males that can't live together. Others have a mezzanine level and ramp, but we added 'arms' to all of them to hang the basking lamps from and the UV strips are screwed to the sides with brackets.
If you're adding 'arms', try and make sure they can be lowered/made higher, so you can alter the table temperatures. This is pretty essential in ensuring the table doesn't get too hot or cold as the ambient room temperature alters.
