Great news. Fingers crossed you'll have more hatchlings soon. :)

I'm stressing, because its so hot my incubator is getting too hot so I have had to put the lid on it at an angle to let some of the heat out, do you think this will have a detrimental effect on the eggs ? :|

Obviously I have water in there for humidity.

Congrats on the eggs. Having the lid angled wont harm the eggs but watch the humidity.

How hot is "too hot"? A degree or two wont do any harm in the short term and itll drop as the day cools but for most Med's 35C+ is dangerous if sustained I believe.

Thats the problem with incubators, they can't do anything about cooling (well some can). Can you carefully move the incubator somewhere a bit cooler? On the floor or a cooler room? You can take the eggs out to do this.

Thanks Kirkie, my temps were nearing 34, too hot in my opinion so today I have invested in a better thermostat, a posh digital one !!

So far so good :D.
