leopard poop

hello all,

i am looking for some info. i picked up a 16month old leopard 4 days ago.

he is feeding and pooping well, BUT his poop is still very watery and not solid
is this normal ?

my stars and hermanns poop is solid, all 4 torts are on the same diet fresh and pellets for there breed.

could it still be from what the shop was feeding him coming out

cheers

There seems to be a large number of imported Leopards recently available in the UK. I highly recommend that they be treated for protozoa as a precaution. They are most likely either wild caught or farmed. Both should be treated as wild caught.

Most shops use a pelleted diet now days... the fecal matter should not be runny if that is the case.

To answer your question... no... it should be firm and well formed.

If he has not been on a high fibre diet his poo will be runny but I would get a sample tested ASAP in case of any worms/paracites
