Have had a quick look at your care sheet. Looks good. Rascal will not eat bananas or strawberries at all. Haven't tried him with melon yet. He had a lick of an orange last night but did not eat it. He loves little bits of apple though. Do you have any idea where I can get a little sleeping bag for him?

Thanks. I was reading on an American site that if you put in half an inch of water (warm) and a towel in there, the towel stops him slipping and also cleans his feet. Tried it today and it really worked. He was not even panicing. He even tried to drink the water and it worked a treat on his dirty feet. Don't know how often I can do it though. He really needs it every day.

I have read that he doesn't need a bath that often but can wade around on a wet towel. That is recomended to take poo off feet. Oatmeal? Do you mean actual oatmeal or a wash with oatmeal in it?

How do you cut Hedgehogs nails? So far I have only trimmed 3. I'm so scared of hurting Rascal that I would rather take 100 tiny bits off his nail rather than cut him. I would leave them but he is in serious danger of pocking his eye out when he rolls up. His nails are filthy! Ever since I got him that flying saucer he just spends all night in it covering it with poo and running in it all the time. Would it be ok to give him loads of small shallow baths? Just to give his nails a soak? Or would he really hate me?

    Hi Charlie,
Yep Fidget is 'coming of quills' too. She is very grumpy. I have used almond oil in her bath but find that she prefers the chinchilla sand, we're going through bags of the stuff
