Oh no Gordon sorry not about to respond before now! Fingers crossed you can go home today so at least you can watch a bit of all night TV if it happens again tonight. x

No panic. Glad you’re out the other side! Sounds painful but hopefully they’ve done a really thorough job and it’ll be worth it.

Sleep deprivation makes everything seem so much worse. Hope you can get comfy with lots of cushions around you and catch some shut-eye once you’re home. Hospitals are impossible to sleep in anyway!

Horrid to be awake, bored and sore at stupid O’clock. You’ll have to take up mahjong on your phone!

Really wishing you a healthy recovery this time. It may take longer but so be it if there’s no infections, burst stitches and holes!
Look after yourself and really hope you get out the hospital today. xx

Well I'm in till Sunday at least as they need to keep an eye out incase it starts bleeding and so they can do the first dressing change.
I'm lucky in a way as my sister never goes to bed till 3 or 4 am so have someone to message.

Well it's good that they are keeping an eye on you rather than send you out too quickly like your last visits. I hope your sister has plenty of news to keep you amused during the wee small hours and in between you are able to catch a few moments of rest. xx

It’s good they’re keeping a closer eye on things.
Hopefully your surgeon is confident he got all the bad stuff out. Can they give you some sleeping tablets in there?
x
