Default Kiera.

Very sad news, we had to have Kiera PTS last Thursday, she had bad arthritis in her spine, knee's & her right shoulder, she couldn't have anti inflametories or pain killers as they affected her stomach. It was just getting too much for her.

Marg.

Thanks for the replies, it is very sad but Kiera was 11 1/2 years old, She had a good life.
We collected her ashes on Tuesday, they are in a little wooden casket.

Marg.

So sorry to read this, it is such a hard decision to make when they become poorly.
I just looked back at a picture you posted of her a while ago and was a truely lovely looking dog, I am sure you will miss her terribly

Thanks everyone, the thing I find awful at the moment is the quietness in the house, it is terrible, I am almost house bound at the moment as I have had an operation on my foot, 8 weeks off my feet, so boring but has to be done. I really needed to have Kiera here for company but it wasn't to be.

It takes a while to except it marg I still miss my old boy who has been gone three years now. If your torts are out can't you sit and watch them I'm sort of house bound as well since I messed up my hip which means when it's not wet I can sit outside and try to work out what they are doing and why but so far I have come to the conclusion small head equals small brain as there seems to be no logic what so ever to what they do
