Melanie, have you managed to get any adequate lighting for the Tortoises since I was there last? Maybe it was broken when I went............

Hi lynne, i just help out there they have there own ideas on how they keep there tortoises, to my knowledge they only have the sulcs and this little herman at the moment the sulcs have the correct lighting or at least they did when i was last there , but you would be more than welcome to go and see for yourself.

I have been there. And the Sullies were kept with a Horsefield and elongate Tortoise. Mixing breeds. And no light at all. Sorry, but I ain't going to lie about what I saw.

Hi , they have a large poly tunnel in the rear garden where they spend most of the time and during the night and on cold days they have a pen with tubular heaters, and a spot bulb, yes they do mix species and no i dont agree with this but its there business not mine, i only help them rehome there tortoises and check new ones over that come in the rescue, i do not get involved with any other aspect of the rescue , i know none of us like the rspca but the rspca keep taking tortoises there so they must like the way the torts are kept otherwise they woudnt keep taking them there, melaniex
