Default Can you fine people help me identify some food in my garden

Right, I'm useless at this, I'm using sites like the tortoise table and I'm still frightened I'll poison Percy

We've just bought a house that has a nice weedy but nice-ish garden. Theres lots of plants front and back and here's a few I've taken shots of, are any safe to eat for Percy?

This doesn't look like normal Clover to me

Loads of these dotted around the lawn, also what about the grass itself?

I did recognise this one, safe apparently but is that the flower, the leaves or all of it?

Thanks in advance
Ant

Hi Ant.
The clover is white clover and perfectly fine. The blue/purple flower is Campanula and again, both leaves and flowers are edible and safe. The white bindweed is fine, as is the nipplewort in the photo below it.
As for the others I can't identify at a quick glance without my flower books to refer to but I'm sure someone else will be able to help.
In the meantime you at least have some nice edibles for Percy.

Brilliant! Always nice to know you have a few you can learn to identify as safe to feed. He looks like he's enjoying them.

You've got Aquilegia growing by the fence. A Sedum (large rubbery looking leaves about to flower), Yellow Corydalis, and a Forget Me Not that has flowered and turning to seed towards the end, plus a Bramble/Blackberry.

Not is any order I'm afraid but you can cross-reference with the Tortoise Table's descriptions.

Looks like sedum telephenium which is ok.

The yellow corydalis is a not feed I'm sure.

The blue flowered campanula is a favorite with my tortoises.

All told quite a lot of food there Scrooge.

The prickly one is a bramble and I think can be offered occasionally.
