Good to hear you're out of hospital and have regained some appetite. Rest up and get yourself better soon. x

So I'm now home with a vacuum pump on again which is the most annoying part but at least I'm up and about still not eating much but have made a start and I'm going to have a nice steak with loads of nothingness with it for tea as that's all I fancy.
Probably not a good idea to start with steak after 8 days of nothing but a bit of soup. Ease back into the eating and work you way up to the steak! Glad you've gotten to go home. Hope you keep improving.

Well Emma it started off as just a dressing change but sort of turned into an operation
The tissue viability nurse spotted something that didn't look right down in the depths so went and got a doc/surgeon who said it was where it was healing but had caused a pocket so she got her fingers in there and basically tore it all open again so nothing could seal in there and fester again so a good way to spend a morning but hopefully will now heal properly.

I must admit when she was saying something didn't look right I wasn't far from tears I was just thinking another infection which as ruffy tuffy as I am I think will tip me over the edge.
