Lego has come on massively since our time. It's so educational too. They use it for people recovering from brain injuries. I think Richard Hammond used it after his crash.
I can see why. I think it allows for a lot of creativity and no right or wrong to it.
Fuzzy felt was the best ever - wasn't there a blue dog? your memory is better than mine. Can you imagine children these days playing at fuzzy felt instead of ipad. ! My niece thought I was a member of the Spice Girls for years, it was fabulous. Now she would just look it up. CB !

The Spice girls, eh? Bet you'd have been baby!!
My youngest is better at anything technological than me. I'm quite resistant to keeping up with the times. I'm just a 50's housewife at heart.
I love baking, gardening, sewing, torts and educating the kids. Although I'd be lost without the internet I'm not into the all-singing all-dancing smartphones and so on. I'm very behind the times and quite happy with that.
My 71 year old mother-in-law is amazing. She has a iPhone, iPad, Fitbit and is brilliant at taking herself off to the Apple Store to learn how to use it all. I think I'll be so old-fashioned when I'm her age.
Oh the simplicity of fuzzy felt!

fuzzy felt was the dogs gonads. I didn't have any, I didn't have anything, but my cousin did and I loved it. The nurse one, the fairy tale one, the one with animals, I loved them all. I bought it for my kids but they never really got it, couldn't work out what the fascination was. I loved the board you could get with shapes and hammer and nails too. Tap a shape?

ha ! it was the nearest thing to a computer game in those days !! I vaguely remember the hammer and shapes, I'll have to delve deep - probably a 'blue' game for the boys and not pink for girlies with bunches and gingham dresses ! Funny things is we still seem to have blue and pink jobs in the house ! what ! CB
