If you do need to talk to someone Wendy you are very welcome to pm me. I think most people get lonely at times, but I am lucky to have a husband that listens, but there are times when you need a little feedback, and my hubby love him is not the best at that. do you keep a diary, you could write everything down in there. Give it a name and tell it how your feeling. xx |

Wendy
You are a lovely, genuine, caring person. Feeling lonely in a crowd isn't something I'm a stranger to myself, even though I have a partner, and a few good friends. You are not alone my friend, it just feels like it sometimes. You have had a really rubbishy few months...well more than a few months and eventually this can wear you down and make you feel low. You will feel better slowly and gradually my lovely... I'll see you tomorrow xxxxx Ed, that's a bit spooky...and a little touching Last edited by Bindi; 23-04-2010 at 08:30 AM. |

Trust is a funny thing - sometimes you just know its there and when you have it it is so precious.
Mums at school gates - always rung alarm bells with me. I used to keep my ear to the ground and my mouth tightly closed. Keep your spirits up Wendy xx |

Me too. I am quite shy also (and have health problems) so do find it hard to meet new people. I tend to stick with very old friends who I don't see as often as I'd like but speak to most days.

Thank you for your lovely replies, texts, phone calls and emails I don't feel as lonely but you did make me cry as I read your messages of support!
I feel as if I have gained many friends with a lot of empathy. Thank you

There's a reason for that... I'm willing to bet we've all been there... and tortoise people are like that.

I moved 150 miles from home and felt very lonely. It was my horse and the friends I met through my horse that got me through. Friend can come through common interrests. Keep going a door will open and one day you will realise you have left this blip in your life behind.
