Hi Marnismum, I'm not an expert, but it sounds to me your tort may have worms. I would take him to the vet for a check over armed with a poo sample.

Hi there, Me Shell is right, it could be a worm infestation, it could be over feeding or feeding foods that are too rich in protein, carbohydrates or sugars. What are you feeding your tort on?
Also what are the temperatures on your table?

It also could be something she has eaten. Some sort of toxin.
Usually if its worms they go off their food, but it still could be worms.

Hi Me Shell and Bindi thanks for your reply

She is fed mostly on weeds but some days I give her abit of lettuce from a florette mixed bag or broccoli or cauliflower she is rather greedy and always looking for food.
I,am sure her temps are fine 32 under lamp and 24 at cool end she goes of to bed about 4 o'clock with no heat at night as she is in a nice warm part of the house.
She is a bit of colour today has'nt rearly woken up spending all her time basking has'nt gone to look for food at all. I hav'nt given her any yet
Should I bath her?

thanks Marnismum

i believe sandy means that your tort may have eaten a weed or plant

that may be unsafe

as in it may contain something toxic / poisonous to the tort

and the body is trying to get rid of this by vomitting

VOMITING
Spontaneous vomiting should always be regarded as a serious symptom. Caused by: Lack of digestive enzyme activity due to too low a temperature; Parasite infestation ('worms'or flagellates), or ingestion of toxic material affecting digestive system; Generalised septicaemia or bacteraemia.
Vomiting may also occur during force-feeding, or when handling too roughly.
Treatment: identify causal factor.

Sorry for not explaining and thankyou to Linda
If you had been picking weeds, it could be some sort of toxin on the weeds, or a weed that is toxic to tortoises.
