my doctor told me about it once. your brain swells up I think because of the histamine in the beer or wine or if you eat too much cheese. I used to get headaches that they said were migraine and then said histamine and turned out to be coming from my shoulder but anyway during the time I was seeing the doc about that he told me about the histasmine being the cause of a hangover
