I've added this poll just to see exactly how people are feeding their tortoises and how they feed a pellet diet. Hopefully I have all the possible options covered here...

Pellets fed with weeds but ONLY through the winter with ONLY weeds fed during the summer that's me (+ salad when weeds disappear completely)

I've never heard anyone say they feed pellets that way. that'll be interesting!

Voted weeds only all year round, but need to add that this is possible as my torts hibernate for 5 months a year.
