Default New Leopard

Hey all , hope you are well

Im getting my Leopard this week , and obviously Ive done lots of research ad read lots and lots of caresheets.

But what do you actually feed yours, is there anything I can buy from ASDA to feed ? (if so , what and do you have a pic or a link to make sure I get the right stuff)

Or does it all have to be weeds ?

Do you have any good links where I can buy food from that you use ?

Many thanks all for your help

Stephen

Weeds and fresh grasses are the best thing, but not always easy to get in the winter. Any of the good pellets on the market (nutrazu, leafeater, komodo) are a good addition to the winter diet. Can also add Pre-alpine to the diet. Some chopped hay may or may not be eaten, but good to have in case he/she does. Kale and Collard greens are good winter additions you should be able to get at the supermarket.

Very handy having for when fresh food is in limited supply over the winter months...

Sorry Stephen can't answer your question cos I've never kept a leopard, but I love your signature picture, it's brilliant .

I buy lambs lettuce and florret crispy salad to bulk out weeds for my tortoises and also kale and occasionally watercress they also love butter nut squash but I've got horsfields and redfoots. Spider plants are safe for tortoises as well as a few other house plants. The link you have been given for tortoise table is a great place to start. There are things on there about other things that are safe to eat not just weeds. Hope that helps a little. I think I am right in saying if it's safe for one tortoise it's fine for all exept fruit as only some can eat fruit but your care sheets will have covered that.
