Default Help Baby on its back

Hi I have a baby due any time and I think it's on his back legs up in the air .....the egg sad looks very red ..and I'm sure membrane has come away as you can see baby's out line easily ...it's not moving so I'm not sure if it's dead .Help not sure what to do ...

That should read egg yolk is very red

hopefully some one medically minded will come on and advise. If do is there a reason why not intervening or are you waiting for some knowledgeable advice, previous experience of this....I don't suppose there is a simple answer. til some one comes on here with experience of this, CB

Jandh, I have a message from burnt toast who cant get on here at the moment. she says best to intervene as they do not do well on their backs even when hatched. pop it in a donut made of damp kitchen towel, in a pot with dampened kitchen rol over to encourage it to sit quietly (with egg yolk sac inside the donut), then leave for a few days....
she knows her stuff so I would give it a try and let us know what happens !

Hi everyone thankyou for all of your advise..i turned the egg in question over.and 3 days later it hatched .he is a quieter hatchling but is started to do well x thankyoy everyone x if i knew how to post a pic i would x
