Default Hermann eggs day 23

Hi guys, my 60+yr old tortoise has laid 8 eggs. I have two 10yr old males.
I've incubated the eggs at 31-32 C and 65-75 humidity.
It's day 23 and although all the eggs started to chalk over within 3 days, there is no sign of an embryo or veins when I candled them today.
I've taken photos but can't work out how to download yet.
I may need to get a response from one you first, before the forum allows attachments.

If they chalked over and are fertile you should be able to see something.
But some eggs will look like they are chalking over but are not fertile.

Patti, welcome! how exciting , hope all goes well. I'm told 7 weeks minimum for any pippin ! I know they say you may see something after 7 weeks also, aside from the chalk and pink and veins, but the norm is 8 weeks and then the serious business may begin ! be fab to see some eggs and any activity....I reckon don't worry and do countdown from week 8 ! You can post pictures once you have made 5 posts. Sometimes eggs chalk but arent fertile. It can take a while to get fertile eggs.

Oh wow, all your posts have just hit my inbox. Thanks so much for replying.
Had a 2 second quick peek at the eggs last night and took a photo.
Can you keep chatting to me until I can post photos?
Still no veins, but definitely gonebdarker orange /almost red in 5 of the eggs, over 5 days. Egg 2 I think is bad as the yolk has settled at the bottom. The other two eggs seem full of yolk, apart from the top.

Wow, all your responses have just arrived together. Thanks so much for replying.
Can you keep chatting with me until I can post photos of the the eggs, please?
They are changing, some getting darker orange/redish inside. This may be the eggs going bad, but they look perfect otherwise, and no change in external appearance apart from the chalking over the top half of the eggs.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
