Unhappy Tortoise found

Not good news but if anybody knows of a lost tortoise in Cheltenham Gloucestershire my sister just called me saying a friend of hers has found a large dead tortoise while out walking her dog not sure what type it is but she is going to try and get a picture if you might know whose it is send me a pm and i will get you a contact number of the person that found it

Hi Gordon, if you haven't already, you might want to let the John Hayward National Theft Register know 01869 325699 or email jh@ntr.supanet.com as someone might have reported the tort stolen or missing.

I was wondering if there would be any way of checking the corpse for a microchip?

No sorry called J Hayward and he said there wasnt nothing reported whent down to see if i could retrieve it to see what it was and if it was chipped but it had gone so unfortunately we will never know
