Such sweeties. I quite like listening to the grinding noises they make eating cuttlefish. My lot are really fussy about eating chalk though.
Their little white cuttlefish beards usually give them away.

Fantastic photos.

Bertie doesn't seem to be bothered with cuttlefish but Beatrice devours it and makes a lot of noise too.

Do you think it is the natural way for the female to eat it? Wondering if it is something to do with egg formation?

Crwban - sorry to hear you don't have a tort these days. There was someone in your direction last year trying to re-home - I think 2.
