Default help think my tortoise is dead

just went to give them a bath and one tortoise is not moving have moved it legs and put it in warm water to wake it up but its not moving.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! Had it shown any signs of illness? How old was it? This must be devastating for you.

where did you get your tortoise from,how old is it,what form of heating are you using,

i got it from buy a tortoise (before i found this website) had it since may,been eating really well, only started to wind it down last monday, i have 60watt spot bulb,and the uvb strip light.

So viv the tortoise has died ?

Buy a tortoise are dealers your animal is likely to wld caught and imported with many others in cramped conditions were disease and viruses can spread quicky from one animal to another.

Do you have other tortoises if so a post mortem is best taken out on your dead one (if it has died).

And i would if you get a check of any other surving tortoises you have just be safe and sound.

Oh gosh sorry about that. I would follow Darren's advice and if you do have another tortoise from buyatortoise get it to a GOOD vet asap for a check up and take the dead one with you.

My thoughts are with you!!!!
