Bev I think lion heads are rabbits !! probably the sign up didn't include name of guinea pigs if they were all in together (which isn't recommended as we know!). oh you must get them before end of summer if you can then you can have the joy of mad circuits round their lawn run if they have one ! can't wait for pickies. my nieces and nephews pleaded for GP's and my brother refused so I sent him a book on them and they bought 2 and now they have 4 and growing - he loves them to bits but can't quite believe it !

Aww, Bev! They are just too cute!! How many do you think you'll have?
We've said no more furries once the guineas move on, just torts and chooks, but hopefully we've got a few more years with the guineas as I love their little faces and squeaks so much.

Our Bubbles was a Netherland Dwarf and lived to the ripe old age of 14 years and 5 months.

They are like our family aren't they? I adore having my babies. We made a family decision not to have more furries as the kids are getting older and they'd have left home by the time a second lot of furries were getting old, especially if they had such long lives as Bubbles. The kids are responsible for cleaning their hutches each weekend and feeding them every evening. I think in Bubbles' case he was just irreplaceable and no one wanted another rabbit, as Bubbs was a real one-off special bunny.
Once the kids have gone I think the torts and chickens will be enough for me to be looking after, plus I'll gain back a bit extra garden and utilise it into more tort space.
In the meantime we enjoy having Popcorn and Cookie so much. They are such funny little piggies.

Neither did we. Even the vet who saw Bubbs for the first time when he was 12 couldn't believe it. He only went in because he had a weeping eye and the vet said his heart, teeth and everything else were in such good nick. He'd not seen a rabbit that old, so to live another 2 years was such a bonus.
