Maybe to be put in touch with someone who rehomes tortoise would help/reward her.
What fantastic news, Geoff! Brought tears to my eyes and went a little way to restoring my faith in mankind. Sandy's right - I wonder if some could contact that couple and offer to put them in touch with a genuine breeder or a tortoise that needs rehoming.

Default Leopards

This is a wonderful example of great human nature. I've witnessed some very crappy examples in the last weeks which have really put me off this hobby.

I was wondering if you offered to reimbursed the folks the 600 pounds... a good chunk of change in US dollars.

I was also wondering that with the connection of lists like this and being involved with groups like this you might offer to help find the woman a suitable replacement through adoption or whatever.

Anyway, congratulations on your fantastic fortune.

Your fantastic news made me well up with tears!!

So pleased for you - can't imagine how worried you must have been about their welfare, back in your safe hands now.
