Exclamation Natural incubation?

Hi
There's a lot of sun here... and my tortoise has laid two eggs on the surface. She's still digging so I think she has already and will lay more in the soil. I want to naturally incubate the ones I took- how can I do this? Do I just bury them in soil and leave them out in the sun? What kind of soil? Do I keep the soil moist? Thank you!

I live in Cyprus. It's hot and humid this time of year!

Yes you can bury them in the ground and incubate that way

Find a spot that gets sun for half the day, that isn't to rocky and the soil isn't baked hard. Dig a hole with a spoon, that is flask shaped (smaller top and wider at the bottom) and about 3 1/2 to 4 inches deep. Put the eggs in and cover them with a bit of dry soil (but not to the top). Make a mud ball of soil that stays together in your hands. Flatten it out and place over hole and smooth out. Place a wire ring (12 inches in diameter) around the nest and attach a wire cover on the ring. This will keep the hatchlings from getting away. You can place in there some very small hides for them to get out of the sun for if you don't find them right away. Water around the wire cage once a week.
