Default Question about leos

Hi just wondering how quick leos grow i am still doing my research before i take a leo plunge and want to make sure im prepared if i get a hatchling how long will it be before it has outgrown an indoor rabbit cage approx 3ft for instance many thanks in advance Nicky

Hi Nicky, my two and half year old measures 4.5 inches so she may double that in say 4-5 years, so on that basis it would probably last about 3-4 years (only a guess tho) as tort may grow faster or slower.
People with bigger leos may know more.

They do grow faster than meds, but with all tortoises it should be a slow steady growth for
which ever speices they might be. As its easy to over feed any tortoise. Especially if you
think that its a large speices so needs lots of food. All speices can get very lumpy very quickly
if not thought about food intake.
