calling red owners
hi guys ..
just a warning really most places discontinue play sand in the winter i know B&Q have done so by me have been looking for it everywhere today focus ect usual places . i found that argos extra is still stocking it for how long i dont know .. i have reserved a few bags to last the winter maybe an idea for u other red keeps to do the same luv becks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes a very good point becks. I have a few bags left over so i'm ok and of course I can use hemp too, but for tropical tort owners a stock would be a good idea.

Good point. I've always got my playsand from a local garden centre, and I never thought they might not stock it in winter - I'd better check.

I expect it comes in again when it starts getting warmer. Spring/summer time.

I don't use playsand for redfoots just top soil . Thanks for the warning though Pete Darren

I have found that the sand being very grainy based gets in the large eyes of redfoots and causes irritation.
