Timothy's book
I've just been given "Timothy's Book: Notes of an English Country Tortoise" as a little gift. Looks like a nice little book! Just wondered if anyone has read it? I'm starting it tonight!

I've read Timothy's Book, it's lovely. So beautifully written, all from the mind of a tortoise.

It is a really beautiful book. I love it so much that my family bought me a first edition copy of the first print run and also a first endition of a newer version!!
Timothy at Powderdom castle is also a lovely read! Oops I a, talking about a different book, the one this book is based on. A Portrait of a Tortoise by Sylvia Townsend, well is was compiled by her and taken from the writings of Guilbert White. This tortoise was thought to be a Whitiei!!!

It's lovely, when I can't sleep I pick it up and read a few pages and I am off to sleep, in the country with an old tortoise and his thoughts.
