Default Outdoor Tortoise Run

Thought this might be quite good for small torts for going outside in summer or something. Price is good at the moment. What do you think ?

I bought that as an indoor pen for my 2 year old as we have a cat and I needed something covered. She hated the big dark scarey hide bit though so I lowered the roof to create a 2 level effect for more floor space and stairs leading up to it, its a proper penthouse now!

Its v well made too

I was pricing all the materials required to make mine and it's going to be about £200 at least with most of that being the wire netting

God yeah! I needed a little bit of wire netting to cover the bit where the hide roof used to be, thought it'd be a fiver at most from B&Q - £20!!

Aye £20. I was thinking I only needed enough for the top area and forgot that I'd also need it for the sides

Good if you want a roll of wire netting.

Dont forget; Don't wire net to the ground so that your tortoise can see out, this will potentially cause an injury if your tortoise is trying to get through the net and out. Always use wooden or solid sides to box in when making any enclosure whether indoors or outdoors.
