Ok will def limit his intake on that then thanks
He hasn't had chickory,spinich or chard tho
What do you recommend for this time of year?

The store bought mix is fine as long as it doesn't have spinach or chard in it. Any of the plantains are good. You can also add a pellet to the diet for the winter 1 or 2 times a week.

Have checked the mix and it has frisee,lambs lettuce and radicchio so all good for my little man so will just limit his dandelion intake and keep finding what I can in the wild whilst I get my own seeds growing hopefully it will improve my plant/flower/weed knowledge along the way lol
Thanks very much for your help and guidance nice to know there are some nice ppl around willing to help and share what they have learned so that we can try and do our very best for our much loved torts
