speeding ticket

hey guys im well annoyed.... got in from work today to find a letter from south wales police.... ive been caught speeding, i was doing 60 in a 40 mph limit, ive been driving 6 years and never had a driving conviction, i cant believe i was so stupid, im always so careful, but now im so worried about whats going to happen, they havent said what fine or penalty im having or nothing, so im really scared at the mo!

anyone else ever had a speeding fine and what did they have to pay/do?!?

hi laura, i have never been caught (yet) but i belive its a £60 fine and 3 points on your license. I may be wrong and i am sure someone will correct me if i am.
Its horrible when you get one of those through the post especially when youre not expecting it

my brother got one not so long ago!
I will keep my fingers crossed that its just a fine xx

yea thats what i been told to, i dont mind that so much cos i havent got any other offences, but am petrified ill end up in jail, knowing my luck, lol!

i tell you something though im sticking to the speed limits religiously from now on, im not a lunatic on the road anyways, thats whats annoyed me, but hey i was wrong gotta pay the price!!

if you pay the amount quickly once asked

there is a slight reduction in price

Been stopped twice

for speeding and got let off my husband is well naffed off at me cos he got done on the same road !! my son said next time i will be well out of luck cos iam bound to get a gay bloke or lady officer !
