Help please!!!!
I noticed today that Amber's shell is pink underneath, she has been eating fine and pooing and peeing fine too...
I gave her a bath this morning and tried to see if it was dirt that would wash off but seems its not... Here are some pics they are not really very good but I hope you can see enough... Please let me know what you think I am a little worried about it... |

just thought I should add she is not very active but is getting up to eat, but Misha is also not very active and doesn't have the slightest hint of pink... If I thought she was acting even a little off I probably would have noticed the pink sooner but she really seems fine...

She looks fine to me.
My guess would be slightly dilated blood vessels in her Dermis under her (thin young) scutes. Maybe she is having a growth spurt and those blood vessels are actively sustaining her bone and keratin producing cells. |

Bad time for a growth spurt, was planning to start wind down next week!
Given she is still acting normally I am happy to believe she is fine, really just needed to put my paranoid brain at rest thanks everyone! |

With no internet or books all I had to worry about was feeding massive piles of weeds and getting my Spur Thigh as heavy as possible for winter. Luckily I ignored the JR Graph or she would have been on a (unrequired) diet for 30 years. |
