I agree with Lynn. Just try using sterilised Top soil in his enclosure and sparay it once a day.

Changed his table completely today. His eye looked like it had something in it which I have got out so if it doesn't get any worse I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and assume whatever was in it has scratched it unless it doesn't improve. He's now on top soil may consider adding a small amount of sand depending how he gets on. Thanks for your advice

I wouldn't add sand If I was you, it could irritate the eye. xx
