Default Tortoise found in Ipswich-OWNER FOUND

Hi

We found a tortoise in Ipswich near the YM Rugby Club on Friday 12 August.
He/ she has a very distinctive feature. If you have lost one in the Ipswich area and think it could be yours, please post a picture and description. We would love you to have your pet back.

Regards
Nick

Well done Nick!
This tortoise has been very lucky to find someone who is being careful and caring, and doing all they can to return him to his owners

Default Good news and bad

Tortoise was chipped so is going home tomorrow. He has only been out exploring for a week. The the Vet says he appears malnourished and the owner was not aware that he had lost most of one foot..? - though this is clearly an old injury (certainly not less than a week old)...? So I'm not sure what I am returning him to

Bad news for my 10 year old son, who had grown rather fond... Still with six children, who needs a pet!

Glad to hear the owners were located but hoping that the tortoise will be better looked after once home.
Well done for taking care of him. Maybe you'll be tempted to get one yourself now. The kids would love it!!

Good on ya Nick , bad on the kids, like Emma says now maybe the time to get them 1 or 2.. and as for the 6 kids bit, i had 5 kids , numerous horses, fish birds , dogs and cats so a few little torts is the way forward lol x
