Think she is probably same size as Poppy How long have you had Poppy and is she your only Tort? Do you mind if i pick your brains????? Judy

hey thanks every one.

I have 2 other sulcatas but they are only little so they are still inside.

It will be heated I'm in the middle of finishing it off now, I am using a tubular heater an a thermostat + a ceramic bulb incase the temp suddenly drops. And a normal combination buld on a timer in the day. After she has warmed up she will normally pop out and graze for a bit then go back in as the weather has not been great.

I have only had poppy a couple of months I rehomed her from a member on this site.

Where are you getting your sully. From?
And yeah you can pick away lol

Thanks .I rehomed Tank from a member on this site as well .I am going to rename her FluffShe is about 11ins long so will probably be outside as well .She came with a friend called Baby and Jackie Stone is having her as she is very much smaller ,although the same age .Its really funny how they can differ in size so much .We thought that Baby would have time to grow on abit if they were separated .Does Poppy eat grass?. .I know the smaller ones dont.Do you feed pellets .I have two 1yr old Hermanns and the smaller at 53 gms is prone to loose weight so have put it on T Rex and it is holding its own Just What is the routine and the ammount of food you give Poppy .

Yh I think I remember the post. Most of poppys diet is grass about 80/90% I caint really say how much food I give her as she grazes all day but she eats a lot.

I'm thinking about using pellets over the winter to bulk her food out. I think you give 2% of there body weight but don't quote me on that.

What sort of accommodation are you thinking off? I had poppy inside when I was building her house she did not smell to great

That's what I did I would let her warm up the open the back door she would go out and come ib as she wanted.

I have fenced off all the main bits to are garden but she is strong she is always moving the table and chairs lol
Her new thing is trying to get in to next door the fence panel came loose not sure if it was her so had to fix it.
But they are a great tortoise always up to somthing lol
