I was wondering..
Is it possible to leave tortoise eggs in the nest where they were laid and then they hatch? If they were outside? Has anyone ever tried?

I don't know about outside but I believe some have had eggs hatch in inside enclosures when they hadn't realised eggs had been laid.

The breeder I got my Ibera from said he had a couple hatch in his outdoor enclosure, a greenhouse. He said he ad load of eggs that didn't hatch but was surprised to see some new hatchlings one day.
