i leave my torts 1 day with no food
so they are hungry then i offer the panacur on fruit for the reds or cucumber for the ibera ive not had problems yet you could get them to open thier mouth with some tempting food then insert a syringe with out the needle or an eye dropper or perhaps a childs oral liquid syringe http://www.babyreflux.co.uk/products/Oral-Syringes.html http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl...gbv=2&aq=f&oq= |

my meds i use the liquid, reds sulcata leopards etc, i use panacur paste, cut a slice of cucumber about 1/4 inch then from a side make a slit so you make a pocket into which i put the paste, like its already been said its best if you dont feed them the day before.

Can I ask, Marg, why do you use the liquid for the Meds? Is it easier to give to them?

i use the beaupher gel, and i squirt it on their food just as they start tucking in, so the next bite they get their required dose. Job done!!
It is hard to get them to take it if they are not eating, this way i try and pull their chin down gently and then get the other helper to squirt in once mouth is open, job done!
