Mollie's Eggs...
Our lass laid 26 eggs yesterday ! Un-fertilized I add.
She had been digging and scratching around for a few days, we put in some top soil in a tray which she dug and dug and dug in! She ate lots of greens on the days prior to the scratching behaviour then she stopped eating altogether. We got up yesterday and there was one single egg in the bottom of her viv. She poop'd then proceeded to lay a further 25 eggs. Once finished I gave her a good soak and a big bowl of salad and wax worms! She ate the lot. You can see from the photo's, the fat has depleted on her head and she has lost a third of her body weight. She is still very bright and alert, she's chillin today however and I'm not surprised ! Anyway here's the eggs :- Weight loss is visible. As above. Clearly you can see her fat pads here, as she tucks into her favourite treat ! Thanks for looking . |
