Default Feeding plants with tomato food and slug/snail problem

Can I still feed my garden plants with tomato plant food

I have planted seeds for Digger in containers and plant pots, but the occasional weed does appear around my garden plants which I will pull up for Digger. Would tomato plant food do him any harm

Also slugs and snails have also taken a liking to Digger's plants. We have quite a problem in this area with these. How do I control this Alot of the plants and seedlings have little holes in them.

Digger has his own section of garden which is kept secure as we have a cat.

Not sure about the tomato feed but you can reduce the slugs and snails by filling a deep dish with beer the love it and yes the will sadly drown in it bury the dish in the bed up to the rim make it nice and easy for them to find

You can use half oranges, they will collect underneath.

Not sure what you want to do with them then, they do make a good chub bait.

Thanks. Will try the half oranges.

Not too keen on killing slugs and snails. I keep an African Giant Land-snail.

Would still be interested to know if I can use the tomato plant food. Wouldn't pull weeds around the plants for a few days anyway, so it would be well watered in by then.

Pam as long as anyweeds are throughly washed before feeding then I very much doubt the tomatoe food will be of any harm it doesn't do us harm when we eat the tom's
