Hi there fairly new to this site. I'm always on the lookout for tortoise related knowledge and have just come across http://www.nhbs.com/ for an amazing range of books. Type "tortoise" in the search. Hope its of use.

Thanks Linda.Wow a reply to my first post. I'm all excited!! I've got every basic care book under the sun (good and bad) but the books on there were just what I was looking for. Being a guardian to a family of Herman's I've snapped up everything with the "H" word or Mediterranean in the title.

I ordered Tortoises of the World, Volume 13: Mediterranean Tortoises this morning so I'll wait and see and let you know. The full range is on the http://www.greennaturebooks.com/index.cfm website. Looking at the publishing dates some are getting on for 10 years old so might be a bit out of date if they deal with tortoise husbandry.
