do you think it would be hard to find homes for them? i know quite a few come up for rehoming but then on the other hand people are quite often looking to buy them but no-one seems to breed them over here.

Certain people in the tortoise world say you are a bad keeper if you let them breed that why you never here of anyone breeding them. Which it think is a load of rubbish.
There are hundreds of tortoise breeders in the uK most dont dare to come onto a forum because of the nastyness.
There are leopard breeders out there

i can understand that! i hadnt heard about leopard breeders but i realise that didnt necessary mean there were none. i still think they are my favourite and would like a couple more at some point.

i agree with you totally Sarah these same people say buy cb meds from them and then if nobody buys wc from petshops this will combat the trade by a reduction in customers, if the ones in the petshops arent sold then they wont be replaced from the wild.what a brilliant idea so why doesnt it apply to leopards.?

Its a pain isnt it.
There is such a stigma with owning leopards, people think they get so large and people wont cope with them. Rubbish

My opinion changed when i owned one. They have a great personality and are stunning. But do need alot of room, but if you have the room why not!!!
