Hi guys. The show was amazing and everything was above board. The equipment was all very cheap, so was livefood and there were a lot of interesting things like Caiman lizards, an Aldabra and a Chaco, Elephant shews and hundreds of dart frogs. The most common tortoises there were marginated, then iberas and hermanns, then red foots with quite a few large adult stars. They are allowed to sell wild caught Christian and people did, but only if it is legal to do so and correct paperwork is in-hand - the adult stars were perfect and obviously wild caught. The stallholders were all very knowledgable and ran a tight ship.
I was very pleased with my purchases and nobody on our coach lost animals though I do believe other coaches had losses unfortunately - I guess its down to the individual. Our coach had a specially heated and air-conditioned hold and all mine arrived in great health. Definately worth a visit!! I'll add my pictures to this thread later (all three of them!) I believe the September show is actually the big show of the year, there were certainly more variety in the hot room (DWA license holders only) in September, and a lot better bargains! Beardies went for around E8 then, compared to E15-20 this time. |

cool, only been once before but the bloke i was working for always said the first one was the best as most of the animals ae conditioned for breeding. i know it used to sell CB animals , as when we went we were given rules of the day.....maybe they ahve changed then or it was a miss understanding from our german.
glad you enjoyed your self and those naimals were ok. |
