My eggs, day 21
Hi, these are my eggs, day 21, i am interested in your opinions, i know no 5 is empty, would be interested in how everyone think the others are doing. We have built a new enclosure for the, hopefully new hatchlings.
Thank you Karen xx |

I see babies Except in number 5 but you may as well leave it to incubate with the others just in case

you might find it easier to see inside if you have the egg on top of the light, ie either hold the torch making a round shape with your fingers and put the egg on them or put a bit of card/paper with a egg shape hole cut out on the light then put the egg on top. I have a big headed torch for candling and its so much easier with the light shining up, and a dark room helps even more. The light needs to shine right through and with something under the egg ie substrate etc it can't do that. I worked for a while in an egg packing factory and candling was part of the job, we'd stand in a curtained off area and the eggs would come by on belt with the light shining up through them, our job was to look for cracks and defaults in them, 1/2 hour was the max you could do the eggs came past so fast.
