I've copied and pasted this onto another Forum as obviously the more "coverage" the better.

It seems they recovered 11 of the 12 tortoises. No update though of whether they got Toby back or not.

This is an old story and Danny is right in saying that 11 of the 12 were recovered very quickly but Toby has never been found which is very sad as he is a special needs tortoise and who knows what has happened to him.

What a shame Mary, the one they would have been most concerned about

Yes Lynn and they are still very upset about him. It has been very difficult for this couple since the theft as now they bring the tortoises inside every time they go out which isn't ideal for the tortoises and hard work for them.

What is wrong with people?! I must admit when I go out I make sure they're all in. Sad, but it's not worth it for so many reasons. Anyone can pop their head over our back wall, although it's a nice area, it's not worth the risk. Bloody shame though. Needless to say I don't go out much! LOL

Mine are outside (in warmer weather) when I go to work, I do worry about them a lot, I can't keep them coupled up in the shed on hot days, but am going to put higher edging on top of the back garden fence I do worry tho, what does everyone else do x
