Good luck in finding them, bloody scumbags. I did read about about this on another site but think the children are on holiday at the moment if the replies are anything to go by.

My heart goes out to the owners, to lose you whole colony must be so distressing to say the least.
They have obviously been targeted.
This is why I always bring mine in on a night but then I only have 3.

Have just read on another Forum that a Leopard tortoise was dumped on someone's doorstep last night.

It is one of theirs and is now safely back with them.

Yes that's correct one Leopard has been recovered and it would appear that it was local people who took the tortoises so hopefully more good news to follow.

I work in 1 of the vets in Bridgwater and we have all contacted collegues and friends to keep an eye out.

I live only a few roads down from where these were taken and have been on high alert since this has happened.

Really pleased to report that the three leopards and the elderly female hermanns have been returned to their owners so fingers crossed for the remaining eight.
