Turtles / Terrapins shouldn't just eat meat & fish. I feed mine plant material such as water hyacinth, eldoea crispa and elodea densa. The prawns are great if you feed them shell on and you can always add a vit supplement to the food you use by cutting a hole in the prawn or white bait and placing the powder inside. Its important to remember that they are oportunistic feeders and will eat what ever they can find. Mine like spiders!
Love to see some pictures of yours!

I rotate food so they get a mixed diet and only feed meaty things 2 or 3 times a week for the older ones. I use either T-Rex or king british dried turtle food (once a week) because it has added vitamins, and also feed bloodworm, frozen or live shrimp. Lots of people feed Tuna though it is a bit messy.

Cooter turtles are more or less vegetarian as adults and need to be fed a wide range of veg. As well as the water plants above you can also try romaine lettuce, broccoli stems (Not the flowers), courgette, carrots (in moderation) and mine go mad over grapes
