it seems like shes neglecting the other one today ive been to pet shop and brought some lactol and a small feeding bottle incase she does im glad im never going throught this again shes gone from being attentive to wanting to stay out the bed even though the pup is crying put her back in a few tomes but i dont want to force the pup on her as she might turn on it, i was so exited the day she had them obviously i was upset for the one that died but now its two just dont want it to be the last one as well when ive put her in the bed shes fed it but you can see she doesnt want to just dont understand the change in her

if she doesnt feed it then i think you should take over with feeding
i dont really no what to suggest
but if you need any help or advice with feeding the pup yourself feel
free to ask as i had to feed reggie when he was a pup from when he
was a day old every 2 hours but then his mom took him back
so if you need any help you no where i am im more than happy to help you
out if you need it

and again im so sorry for your losses
kirsty

So sorry to hear about the pup.
I think I would probably take over the feeding and care myself until mum decides she wants to or not and not take the risk if she is showing signs of rejection.
It may have just all been to much for her.

Hi
Sorry to hear about the pup you lost.

Are the owners of the stud dog you used Breeders? if so it might be worth getting in touch
with them they may have some tips to past on to you.

With my very first litter i kept in contact with the owners of the stud dog i used, because they had been breeding for years and they past on some tips and ideas, and was there incase i needed some help, their support was great.
