Plant food help? =]
Hello peeps, i own a golden greek, but its quite hard for me to find food for him, as i dont know meny types of weeds.
I was hopeing some one can show me in the rite way to go , im also really crap at plant nameing, i would love it if some one can show me pics of the good weeds, the would be ok for him. Thanks Shaun. |

Hi Shaun,
There's a good list with pics on this website, also the Tlady has very good list. I think the easiest to identify are dandies, clover, milk and sow thistle, plantain and dead nettles (the ones with the flowers, they won't sting you when you pick them) |

www.thetortoisehouse.com www.tortoises.net are both great sites for plant info and tortoise husbandry. This site also has a plant section with lots of pictures and info too.
Weeds are the way to go, dandelion, sowthistle, plantains, bittercress just to name a few.

hi i would say if you go to the tlady site you can download and print pictures with good descriptions of common weeds.also chris has posted some excellent photograph's on this site.
