Question worried about pyramiding!!

Hi guys,

I need some help! I am trying to prevent pyramiding from getting worse in my tortoise, she does not have a bad diet, she has got a weed only diet, I sprinkle with Nutrobal etc etc.

I have now noticed this on her shell after reading up about it!

Could someone let me know how much food should be given to her?? I don't want to over feed her? she is 1 years old.

Is there a a rule of thumb re feeding or can someone give me an idea of suitable quantities please?

I know it may sound stupid!! but your help is appreciated.

Thanks

If she is outside in an enclosure with weeds in, then dont feed anymore, just let her graze. If indoors (then should be out<g>) then enough to cover her shell once a day.

A humid hide in her table may help. Little ones need more humidity than we may think. In the wild they would be hiding most of the time, under bushes etc..where the humidity is higher for them, especially early morning and in the evening.
