Default Male or female horsfield??

Would appreciate some help on this, and also the condition of the tort as I may be providing him/her with a new home. Thought to be a 5 year old female

Here are some more photos that I have just received (I am sorry if these haven't worked, not sure what I am doing wrong ), there seems to be a dip across the back of his/her shell. What do people think of his/her condition?

I would be buying him but have the same concerns that he has been over grown, he has been kept in a viv with the wrong diet so I think I will tell the lady no. Just wanted to make sure.

Thank you.

I agree with Linda, plus I think its a male. But I am by no means experienced at sexing but I am sure that someone who is will be about soon

his front legs do look a bit swollen, his back claws look a bit funny to me too, im not sure why they just do, he has slightly lumpy shell but not major.

that would mean he has to stay longer in the viv with the wrong care, maybe try and convince the person to re-home the animal, or ask her to drastically reduce the price, mentioning to them what is wrong with the tort and saying you will have huge vet bills to pay therfore it would work out you are paying the same price anyway, try that with the seller - just to get the animal out of that viv and get the right care.
