They sound great any more pics or do they hide too much lol. I had heard they enjoy a good shower now and then.

Hi Pete
Didn't notice this topic; Anyway as you no mine are quite nervous but my adult pair which have now joined a captive breeding programme where very tame and spent hours basking quite happily throughout the day. The reason I think these one's i have are nervous is possibly the uncertain past i'm pretty sure they were originaly wild caught this may explain the nervous nature but i'm sure they will improve with time . Diet wise mine are fed a variety of weedy greens and flowers , flowers being the nominant food item just now as there are plenty about they love nasturitum flowers and marigolds ( candula) I have a water bowl in place which is used most days . Thy are soaked 2-3 times a week but don't think its nessacery as they seem to soak them selves . I use 100 w trex combined bulb to heat they rarely go out side as they hide all the time when moved about think this might be too stressful for them as they settle i might change this and allow them more time out . Any questions just ask Jeff and Dan are pretty experienced pancake keeper I shore they can answer any other questions you have Darren

Hi Lowe
Do you have a male and female? As they look different shapes, or has this nothing to do with it<g>?

Bit early to say, but as far as we know they're both female. Regarding differences, we can only assume it's because one eats for England and the one eats 'normally'
